Off-road vehicle insurance will not only protect you from medical expenses when you hurt your self or crash your vehicle but also cover the liabilities if you accidentally hurt some one else with your vehicle.

There are mainly five types of insurance covers that insurance companies would provide for off-road vehicles and they are:

This a critical insurance for any sports vehicle like BMX dirt bikes because they have great risk of being crashed or getting physically damaged due to nature of extreme sports.

Such insurance can be very helpful for off-road vehicle like golf-cart where chances of collisions are very less but you can have other breakdowns in machine resulting expenditure in servicing.

c) Medical Payments Cover: As the name describes this insurance policy will cover the medication expenses you have to make after getting injured using the covered off-road vehicle. This insurance will cover the medical payments for you and your team if included in the policy.

d) Liability Insurance Cover: This insurance cover will help you in case you make any damage to a third party person or their property while using the off-road vehicle and they sue you asking you to pay compensation for damage caused by you. People who are at risk of being sued by others for their mistakes, which generally happens with people participating off-road vehicle activities, use this insurance.

e) Safety Apparel and Equipment Cover: This insurance covers the damage made to the special safety apparels and other products one might need to prevent getting hurt in case of an accident. It can also provide cover on other equipments required by your vehicle for example, the transportation vehicle or special tools used by these off-road vehicles.
